If we can’t meet face-to-face (f2f) at the school or in your internship company because of distance or environmental considerations etc. it is possible that we can have an online meeting through Skype.
Because a Skype meeting has to be in real time (sync.), it has to be planned according to:
- Starting time of the meeting (my reference is normal danish timeT)
- Length of the meeting
- Objectives for the meeting
To make a Skype meeting look and feel like a normal f2f supervision meeting recommend that we try to use.
- Headssets with mics and headphones for better soundquality
- Webcam so that we see the person(s) that we are talking to
- A Skype plugin called InnerPass that facilitates at meeting room, shared documents, screen sharing and more.
